About the Artist
Mujda Hakime is a Toronto-based visual artist whose figurative paintings explore the inner life of the human experience. Through expressive colour, geometric structure and the language of the body, her work examines perception, vulnerability, resilience and transformation.
Rather than offering fixed interpretations, Mujda’s paintings create space for reflection. They invite viewers to recognize something of their own experience and to consider the unseen forces that shape how we relate to ourselves, one another and the world around us.
Her work has been exhibited in Toronto and includes commissioned paintings created for private and institutional collections.
